THE HARRISBURG REGIONAL CHAMBER & CREDC PROVIDES $2.0 MILLION IN FINANCING THROUGH PIDA LOAN FOR TEX VISIONS, LLC TO EXPAND

HARRISBURG, PA – The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (Chamber & CREDC) announced today that they partnered with Metro Bank to provide financing to Tex Visions, LLC.  The financing was used by the company to purchase 8 acres of land and construct a 57,600 square foot manufacturing facility.  This new location on Pine Hill Drive in Middlesex Township, Cumberland County includes 10,800 square feet of two story office space, separate production and warehouse space, and 60 parking spaces. Tex Vision will transfer all of their 44 current full time employees to their new location and committed to create 16 new positions within the next three years.

Tex Visions, LLC closed on April 22, 2014 on the $2 million PIDA (Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority) loan provided by The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC.  The economic development loan leveraged another $3.59 million of capital investment towards the project and included financing from Metro Bank and other equity sources.

Tex Visions, LLC is owned by Marcel Ruhland. The company manufactures and distributes custom printed textile advertisements for both indoor and outdoor use including flags, banners, literature stands, and advertising umbrellas. The company was founded in 2004 with only two employees and was one of the first tenants of The Chamber & CREDC’s incubator at the Murata Business Center in Carlisle, PA.  The company’s sales grew quickly requiring additional staff and space at Murata.  In 2008 they moved manufacturing operations in-house, hired more staff, and leased even more space at Murata.  Before Tex Visions graduated from the incubator program and relocated, they had become Murata’s largest tenant.
