About CREDC Financing
CREDC is the leading Certified Economic Development Organization serving Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties. In this capacity, CREDC facilitates many of the state’s economic development loan programs for the businesses of our region. CREDC is audited and tested annually to maintain these certifications, attesting to its professional capacity to underwrite and service business loans with the Commonwealth’s economic development programs.
The economic development loans that CREDC provides are designed to stimulate owners/entrepreneurs’ investment in local businesses, thereby creating and retaining jobs in our region. CREDC partners with financial institutions across our region to supply a portion of business financing needs at lower fixed interest rates, giving borrowers the capacity and potential to make a larger impact on our community.
The benefits to using economic development financing affect both businesses and financial institutions.
The Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC) has a variety of loan programs available for area businesses. CREDC’s Business Finance staff will work directly with the applicant to guide them through the application process, while working hand-in-hand with the applicant’s financial institution. If you are interested in learning more about these loan programs, please call Melissa McLaughlin, Director of Business Finance at (717) 213-5042 or use the E-mail Us link at the top of the page.
