Harrisburg-Carlisle Metro Adding Jobs Faster Than the State Average

Central Pennsylvania’s February metro-area jobs have grown faster than state averages during the past year, according to employment statistics released today by the state Department of Labor and Industry.

The Harrisburg-Carlisle metro area, which includes Perry County, added 3,100 seasonally adjusted nonfarm jobs in the past year, or about 1 percent, for a total of 326,600 in February, according to L&I.
