Heading in the Right Direction…

Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate dropped three-tenths of a percent to 7.6 percent in April, according to the Department of Labor and Industry. Unemployment decreased 17,000 to 496,000, which is the third largest decrease on record, behind only March 2013 and July 1983. Meanwhile, General Fund collections for April were 0.9 percent above estimate coming it officially at $3.589 billion.
