PUBLIC INVITED TO LEARN ABOUT “STARTING A SMALL BUSINESS” DURING EDUCATIONAL SESSION

PCN in partnership with the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA) and the Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundation is hosting a special town meeting concerning “Starting a Small Business.” The educational session will take place in Carlisle on Wednesday, November 13 at 10:00 a.m. The program will air on PCN later that day beginning at 10:00 p.m.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Ben Franklin TechCelerator in the Murata Building located at 453 Lincoln Street in Carlisle. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions of the expert panel throughout the discussion.

The panel includes Michael Kane, Harrisburg branch manager for the U.S. Small Business Administration; Kevin Shivers, executive director of the National Federation of Independent Business; Cheryl Young, consulting manager for the Shippensburg University Small Business Development Center; Molly Snody, director of business advisory services at the PCUA; Bob Marquette, president/CEO of Members 1st Federal Credit Union and Warren Hudak, president of Hudak and Company.
