Three Democratic candidates win Harrisburg City Council race

Democratic incumbents Brad Koplinski, Susan Brown-Wilson and fellow Democratic newcomer Sandra Reid have won the three City Council seats in today’s election.

Koplinski, Brown-Wilson and Reid defeated Republican candidates Ruth Cruz, Michael Bretz and Allen Bair.

Koplinski took 22.7 percent of the vote; Brown-Wilson had 21.7 percent of the vote and Reid garnered about 21 percent of the city’s votes.

Cruz had 12.7 percent of the city’s votes; Bretz took home 11.3 percent and Bair had 10. 6 percent.
